10 THINGS YOU MUST DO IN BLED, SLOVENIA

LAKE-BLED-SLOVENIA

After our quick visit to Slovenia, it rapidly climbed the ranks to one of my favorite places on Earth! From the breathtaking beauty, adventurous excursions, exceptionally friendly locals, and just downright unreal scenic spots ( re: Predjamski Grad ).

Lake Bled was one of those idyllic scenes straight out of a fairytale. I had seen the photos and ultimately this was the driving force behind our visit, but I have to say, it’s more serene and captivating in person. LAKE-BLED-SLOVENIA

Here’s the highlights for your visit :

BLED ISLAND : In the middle of the lake, is a small island home to the Church of the Assumption. The stunning baroque style church has a wishing bell instead of a well, a must-do if you visit the island!  LAKE-BLED-SLOVENIA LAKE-BLED-SLOVENIABLED CASTLE : Perched up above the lake, the Castle offers stunning views and is the perfect sunset spot!
