Sometimes a southern gal just needs some fried chicken and melt-in-your-mouth waffles. And a bellini or two.

Insert, the Lockhart. And bonus, it’s located in my fave little neighborhood of Marylebone.

The decor was perfection…I seriously need it all sent right over to my flat. I am such a sucker for farmhouse style decorating, especially tin ceiling tiles…swoon!

Such sweet, delicate dishes too! I love these little touches at restaurants!

I had the Chicken & Waffles…the syrup was such a delicious smoky, maple! So tasty. Also, I recommend the Shrimp & Grits…it’s a unique spin on the classic with some oriental flavors. And don’t leave without trying the sizzling cornbread, my goodness! YUM!

For brunch, be sure to try a Bellini or a Mimosa, of course! But ask to see the cocktail menu as well…the Peach Manhattan is a tasty compliment to the waffles & syrup! I’ll definitely be back to try some of those other delicious cocktail creations.
