On Top of London

If you’ve read my blog or viewed my insta, after about 12 seconds you probably realized I am obsessed with great views and sunsets. I have been working on finding the perfect London view since my little feet landed on UK soil.

Here are my faves so far:

The Sky Garden at the top of the Walkie Talkie. A garden in the sky, complete with a fancy cocktail bar. Free with reserved tickets. Read more here.

Radio Bar. The perfect pre-dinner drinks spot. The view, the drinks, so much to love.

The London Eye. The obvious choice some say, but I love seeing the Eye in the city view, so I’ll opt for the other choices. And it’ll cost ya…£19.35 for adults.

Primrose Hill. A quick little walk to the top of this park hiding north of Regents Park offers a pretty little panoramic view of London town.

Kensington Roof Gardens. A gorgeous green roof top bar offering little snippets of the London skyline…but the big bonus is, on the floor below, called Babylon, there are flamingos!!

Hampstead Heath. A huge park in North London with a pretty view (even if it is a little foggy) of this gorgeous city. Read more about my explorations at the Heath here.

Where I’m dying to visit next…the Shard, the Monument, and can someone sneak me into the Queen’s Tower? What’s your favorite view of London?

Pin this for later…

  1. I love your London photos! Utter beauty! I’ve done the Monument, lots of stairs to the top and you get a certificate that you’ve climbed it! Well, at least it was like that in 2012!:))

  2. I already did the Shard, London Eye and Primrose Hill. I’d say the Shard is the best if you get a nice sunny day, but I am so looking forward for that Sky Garden view. This is not the first time you indulge us with some really nice lovely pictures from there, so I might as well try it myself.
