La Maison Rose + Montmatre : this is one of my favorite areas in all of Paris. The cafe scene is unparalleled and there’s something about being up in the hills above the city that is so refreshing. Even in the midst of high summer season, you can still find little corners with very few people.

Address : La Maison Rose, Rue de l’Abreuvoir, Paris, France

The Sinking House of Paris : it’s actually more of an optical illusion than a real sinking house, which is why so many people probably miss it altogether! Leaving the Sacre de Couer, head down the first set of stairs facing central Paris…look to your left and turn your head to have the ground completely horizontal and voila! A sinking house.

Address : 5 Rue du Cardinal Dubois

Sacré-Cœur Basilica : The stunning Basilica of the Sacred Heart is a photo not to be missed. The church is breathtaking with its’ pearly white dome standing tall above the city and appears photogenic whatever the season.

Address : 13 Place Saint-Pierre

THE LOUVRE : Most people will say if you want the infamous Louvre shot you have to arrive with the sun to avoid 1.1 million other people in your photo….not neccessarily true. This one was snapped on a Saturday afternoon. It’s all about positioning. The museum courtyard is filled with unique ways to get the it shot — from the various sized barriers you can stand on to balconies of the museum to getting creative with the fountain.

Address : Cour Napoléon et Pyramide du Louvre

Jardin des Tuileries : stretching from the Louvre to the Place de la Concorde, this lush park is a definitely photo worthy. Getting a gorgeous alley shot between the trees, probably only for the early riser…this place is trickled with people throughout the day.
