Tuscany Airbnb

We spent a week in October hopping all around Northern Italy with a quick (too quick if you ask me!) stop in the gorgeous rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. I could easily  spend a week here sipping Chianti, sleeping in, long walks, maybe a book or two, probably more Chianti…does anything sound more serene?

We stayed at this gorgeous Toscana Airbnb in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa (bonus its only 30 minutes from Florence!). It is more of a proper bed and breakfast ran by Andrea and Lucca, the most generous and endearing hosts. We sat on the patio at dusk sipping wine and they continued to bring us amazing little treats to try…fresh olives straight from the fields, newly pressed olive oil, roasted chestnuts, Toscana brown bread…it was delightful! They gave us a delicious dinner recommendation and even called ahead to book for us.

Breakfast is a lovely spread of typical Italian compliments…pastries, croissants, meats & cheeses, eggs…and of course, coffee and tea.
