Last week I was whisked away for a night under the stars in the gorgeous newly renovated Maison Belle Epoque…the family home of the champagne brand Perrier Jouet. The bubbly was flowing and the garden was lush and green, decorated like an absolute fairy tale! I actual knew very little about the Champagne region (except that I wanted to visit!) until this stop. The tiny town of Epernay is home to all the major players in the Champagne industry with most of their family mansions lining the street called Avenue de Champagne…I mean has there ever been a more perfect named street?! Once we turned down the road, it was Moet, Dom Perr, and then Perrier Jouet all neighboring. A dream come true!
